Design Your Life, Change Your Life
Since young, certain experiences have instilled the importance of saving and growing my wealth in me. The other reason is I do not want to feel poor.
There were some instances where my life could have derailed or not progressed smoothly. Yet, every single time when it almost happened, I managed to bounce out of it because of my willpower and God’s strength.
Over time, I started to develop an internal strength to believe in the possibilities of life.
This strong belief allowed me to face challenges knowing that I am able to conquer them in a slow and steady fashion.
I prayed and wished for my life to have more financial resources when I was 18. Few years ago, my wish came true. It happened because I increased the probability of it happening — by design. I chose to be frugal and equip myself with the knowledge to invest in compounders. I still do.
Tip #1: Be proactive about your goals in life.
The Millionaire in You: Ten Things You Need to Do Now to Have Money and Time to Enjoy It
This is a book that I have on my table. I see it daily. There is never a moment where I believe that my financials goals are out of my reach. There is never a moment where I do not believe in being a millionaire in years to come.
I direct my thoughts and action towards making it a reality.
For things to happen, first, I need to envision myself and visualise it.
The best way to predict the future is to create it.

To end off, here is an narrative story that summarises my blog post:
A goal is just like a quiet snowball…. in the initial days of you putting in the efforts, it does not seem to amount to any changes. Your snowball doesn’t get any bigger. Your friends, family and even yourself, start to question behind your goals and the probability of achieving them.
Why do I put in so much effort into something that seems stupid? Do not give up! You continued to persist, perhaps, relentlessly! You start to be encouraged by the size of your snowball in stage two.
As you push, the snowball gets bigger over time. It gets easier and easier. You start to believe that it is possible to reach your goal and it will happen eventually.
Few years later, you look at what you have achieved. It’s a massive snowball! It happened already — right before you without realising it.
To me, my snowball is hitting my millionaire status. To you, what is your snowball?
