Finally, offer letter from NTU!
Last year, the indicative grade profile (IGP) for NTU’s premier business programme was GPA of 3.72 while I have a GPA of 3.83. I was a bit sure that I’d get into it. Unfortunately, as things turned out, I didn’t get the offer. Disappointment was an understatement. However, I believe that one should never give up his dreams so easily, and do not settle for anything less. I told myself, I could do it next year.
This year, I sought help from my CCA’s advisor and my manager to submit appraisals for me. I re-applied via the discretionary path.
On 12 March 2014, I received email from NTU’s admission department. At that very moment, I felt a mixed of emotions. Anxiety and excitement.
“Will it be a repeat of last year? A failed attempt, once again?”
I opened up the digital offer letter, and I couldn’t believe my eyes! BUSINESS! I finally got it… I couldn’t believe it.
At last, dream come true!
One of the traits that I noticed about myself is, I’m stubbornly persistent in my goals in life. Furthermore, I didn’t have to attend any interviews at all and the entry for business had risen quite significantly to GPA of 3.80 as minimum cut-off. All Glory to God!
