Looking Back 2014 and Looking Forward 2015
The thought of writing a blog spot floated my mind for the past few days. I decided what would a better way to kill this stubborn procrastination? There is no other way than taking actions IMMEDIATELY.
The year of 2014 was – honestly – a mundane year.
- attained my 3rd sergeant rank
- took ammunition recruits of 18th BMTV
- secured my Nanyang Business School spot
- seured SPRING-SME Executive Development Scholarship
- picked up 13k of profits in Adventus
Despite all these seemingly achievements, I didn’t experience any tangible fulfilments. Happiness comes in many forms… but what’s with money when you find no joy in it?
Perhaps, National Service has left me being isolated SOCIALLY from the world for most part of 2014. I NEED to get out there to explore exciting people, possible ideas, travel and participate in events. In many ways, I am looking for growth catalyst for my personal growth. I’ve resorted to trading stock occasionally because it was so tempting. I know I can bag it with some chances. But time after time, it had proven… I made more losses than gains.
Ushering into the new year, it is time for me to review my plans and make 2015 COUNT. I wish to conduct myself with integrity, hopefulness, positivity, encouragement and I take ACTIONS to make my goals come true. I want to fill my life with more gratitude for every single person in my life. I commit myself to achieve:
- get my driving license
- run a full marathon
- a networth of SGD $300,000
- control my investing habits and invest smartly and safely
- abstain myself from unhealthy content
- eat and live healthy
- ORD happily
- get back to school and being the best I can ever be
- no limits on myself
- produce a positive self-esteem and cut away the negatives
- closer relationship with God
- take massive actions towards my dreams
- travel
- read more books – 1 book per 2 months or 1 financial book per 4 months
Here’s a great start to my 2015 and nothing’s going to stop me!
We shall crave out a bright future for ourselves as we slowly take real steps towards our dreams. The future belongs to those who believe STRONGLY in the beauty of their dreams.
