The Hedgehog Portfolio!

Hey Kelvestor readers!

I have two investment portfolios right now. One is held with ThinkorSwim and another is held with Interactive Broker. My personal preference is to use Interactive Brokers of their crazy commission rates which no other brokerages are able to match so far!

It would be a sin not to transfer my ThinkOrSwim accounts to my Interactive Broker! I am going to initiate the process soon.

Why did I start my second portfolio?

It’s to demonstrate that even a small portfolio can grow very well.

I want to demonstrate and document down how I grew a new portfolio from a small base to over $100,000 eventually! The source of funding is my accumulated savings and a big portion of my salary.

I call the Hedgehog portfolio! I like hedgehog. The animal represents sturdiness and curiosity. An investor needs to have a sense of doggedness and constant curiosity.

The portfolio holds 2 stocks and I’ve sold one PUT so far. I am looking to add in a third stock soon.

The portfolio stands around SGD $66k. My personal goal for hedgehog portfolio is SGD $80k by year-end.
