I am an Third Sergeant!
This week marked the 3rd week of my attachment at Sembawang Camp as ammunitions section commander. I was lucky to have Nicholas to be my partner. It was an emotional rollercoaster ride, thus far. On a daily basis, I would get 5 – 6 hours of sleep. However, the lack of sleep did not deter me from fulfilling my responsibilities to my recruits. My job was demanding. I was in-charge of taking care of my recruits’ safety, discipline, learning and development. There are some days where I had to motivate my recruits to give their best and execute their drills properly. And when their behaviour is too rowdy, I had to rein them in and discipline them. But when it comes to fun times, I would engage them by removing my ‘commander’ hat and wearing my ‘friend’ hat.
Despite all my complaints, it was happiness to see my recruits gradually improving on their drills and learning how to work together by taking the initiative to lead. So, it is down to two weeks before their graduation ceremony.
I guess it was a whole new experience taking them as compared to my work back in Mandai West Camp. It is something that I would cherish.
On the investment front, Pollux Properties’ Nico Po transferred all his shareholdings to a company called “Pollux Holdings Ltd”. I see it as a form of consolidation. He also bought 300 lots of shares from open market at an average price of $0.0783. However, the share price wasn’t supported by this action and dipped to $0.07. The big players are probably pushing down the price to accumulate more shares – I guess. I certainly hope that I am not wrong in my analysis of Pollux Properties. In time to come, I believe it would be a multi-bagger.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
(edit: I have sold all my shares in Pollux Properties with slight gain as it was an error of judgement on my part)
