TP School Update!

TP School Update!

Over the past few things, there were many instances where I had to step out of my own comfort zone. In a way, I believe that I’m morphing for excellence ahead.

Lessons from today: Speak up, speak positive,  and be more articulative.

School progressed. In this semester, for my communication skills 1 module, I have the pleasure of being the student of Mr Darshan Sandhu. As a teacher with strict standards, I feel that I am able to learn to become a better writer and craft persuasive business letters.

His background:

Darshan has a Master degree in Education (ELT), a Master degree in Communication Management, a Bachelor degree in Arts (Hons) in Political Science, a Bachelor degree in Arts and Social Science, a Graduate Diploma in Marketing and a Diploma in Marketing.

He has conducted training for statutory boards and private organisations such as Productivity Standards Board (PSB), Caterpillar, Fujitech, Matsushita, Sanyo, Port of Singapore Authority (PSA), Maersk Line, Four Seasons Hotel, CK Tang, Centrepoint Properties, Caterpillar, Sanyo and Copthorne Hotel. Regionally, he conducts workshops in teacher training, language and communication in Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is also a volunteer trainer to teachers in Myanmar under the Singapore International Foundation volunteer programme. Today, Mr Sandhu told me that I have to speak up and be more coherent in my speaking. While I feel lousy about myself, it was this blunt approach that I appreciated.

I applied to PACEsetters and I was told that I nearly did not make it into the CCA’s interview. Thankfully, I was successful.

With a bit of time to spare, I also created an unicycling video of myself…. Wooohooo, I am improving in my unicycling skills.
